Within the “Sunday Music Series” of “TWGCF” the folk music Concert was held under patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine

"The Washington Group Cultural Fund" under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA continues its "Sunday Music Series" concert program for 2011.

The main aim of this project, which has been successfully implementing for many years, is to introduce the variety of Ukrainian musical culture to American audience.

On November 6, 2011, the Concert of Ukrainian American pianist Hanna Shelest was held at the Concert Hall “Lyceum” (Alexandria, Virginia).

During the concert Hanna Shelest played the master pieces by famous Ukrainian and world composers.
