The event, which took place during the visit of Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor V.Anushkevychus to the US, was attended by the representatives of the US State Department, Arlington County Board Members, representatives of the US business circles and Ukrainian community.

During the official part of the evening members of Arlington Sister Cities Association, representatives of Arlington City Council and the Embassy of Ukraine delivered speeches emphasizing tangible results achieved in cooperation of two cities and stressing the importance of further development of interregional cooperation in various spheres.

The entertainment program featured a performance by “Gerdan” band – that presented contrasting musical styles in the folk musical traditions of Ukraine, while the guests of the Embassy had an opportunity to see the permanent exhibitions of paintings and “Scythian Gold” holograms.
