Ambassador of Ukraine Oksana Markarova launched the Roundtable discussion “Genocide of Ukrainian Children in russia”, organized by Michael Sawkiw, Jr., the Executive Vice President of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America hosted by Ukraine House.

Ms. Leslie Archambault, Managing Director of Humanitarian Policy oh “Save the Children”, Ms. Liza Yanovich, Director of Strategic Learning and Evaluation of the “Global Fund for Children” and  Ms. Diana Rayes, Reporting Fellow, Pulitzer Center shaped the discussion.

Representatives from various humanitarian organizations attended the event and called to attention the critical statistics of those families and children that were affected by the war, and placed heavy emphasis on the ongoing illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.

This topic reflected the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA  and Ukraine House initiative #UA Kids Amber Alert in place until all Ukrainian kids are safe back home.
